CAMBER

On New Year's Eve we ventured to Camber Sands, a short drive away from Rye. It was almost deserted, barring a few people walking their dogs and riding horses. I guess it was FREEZING. There's nothing like taking a refreshing walk along the coast to say goodbye to a lovely year.

RYE NYE

We first went away for New Year's Eve a few years ago, and we couldn't believe we hadn't been doing it for longer. Its so lovely to get out of London for the New Year. The countryside/ the Sea/ The North, wherever. Anywhere with open spaces.

This year we returned to the lovely Lantern Cottage in Rye with two of our best friends. The location is perfect. I love the history of Rye, and the fact it's so close to London makes it even better!
