FAN

I harped on for weeks about getting a fan, and Paul eventually relented. It's the noisiest fan in history, but it does the job!

STRIPED

Said Leeds shopping trip saw the purchase of the PERFECT pyjama bottoms, thanks to the GAP.

MORNING SEX

Last weekend, Rachel and I ventured to Leeds (Leeds, LEEDS) for a weekend of shopping, drinking and dancing. We woke up, strangely, VERY early on the Saturday morning (6:00 to be precise?!) so we watched Sex and The City in bed with tea.

P

One of the best things about leaving the band was that I didn't have to be away for extended periods of time away from home or Paul. So when he was recently away for three nights, I really missed him. Although it is good to miss people I think, it makes you really appreciate them, that little bit more.

LASSE

Paul and I recently purchased some prints from our extremely talented friend Lasse Dearman
We met him when we were both in bands, he takes the most mesmerising shots of bands. He excels in intimate situations, and documents and just captures every single moment perfectly. We are really pleased with the prints and cant wait to get them up on the wall!

CHAIR

There really is nothing better than waking up on Saturday morning, and the whole room is bathed in bright white light.

PINK SKIES

Leyton genuinely has some of the most mesmerising sunrises I have ever seen! Waking up to the whole room bathed in pink is just glorious!

COTTON

TWO WHOLE YEARS since we got married. Where on earth does the time go?! The traditional gift for second wedding anniversaries is Cotton... Well Paul loves his fabrics, so this was a relatively easy one... Not looking forward to some of the later ones... Like tin!?...

SLEEP

Monday mornings suck, as we all know, but THIS was so hard to leave. He knows how to strike a pose.

SLIPPERS

My friend Nadia bought me these AMAZING slippers. They are literally the comfiest slippers in the world! They are handmade in Warsaw by a company called Mounties By Pama I believe you can buy them on Chatsworth Market on a Sunday, or mail order!

TRIANGLES

Testing, testing. These are indeed just tests. Rachel and I are wanting to get a tattoo together and we were testing out placements.

I love triangle, I like the simple lines and find it visually arresting.

It is also three sided (obviously) and the number three resonates with optimism and joy, inspiration and creativity, speech and communication, good taste, imagination and intelligence, sociability and society, friendliness, kindness and compassion. Number three also relates to art, humour, energy, growth, and expansion.

All of this, and it also symbolises woman. So eventually, we will get round to it... One day.

CHARLOTTE

Charlotte, Charlotte, Charlotte. Have you ever seen something so beautiful?!

ALL PACKED UP AND READY TO GO

The final night at our old flat. I didn't really feel sad, as it never felt like home, it was always a project. Which makes me feel a bit weird, like I was using it, which I guess we were, but it made me feel awful, like the flat had feelings! You know like when you leave an ex boyfriend and they never saw it coming?

Anyway, here are some of the boxes all stacked up.

BRIGHT

For the final new nights of Hibbert Road we slept in the back bedroom, as the neighbuor had decided to leave the extractor fan all night, which was near our actual bedroom. Waking up in the back bedroom was a pure joy! We never had any curtains or blinds put up, and it was BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT, which I love!

SALLY

My favourite Sally Mann print. Right next to my favourite Larry Clark!
